Max Payne was a third-person-shooter video game which become a movie now by the director John Moore (Behind Enemy Lines, Flight of the Phoenix, The Omen). Mark Wahlberg plays Max Payne. Singer star Nelly Furtado has a part in the movie as Alex Balder's (Payne's partner and best friend, played by Donal Logue) wife. Max Payne tells the story of a maverick cop determined to track down those responsible for the murder of his family and partner. Hell-bent on revenge, his obsessive investigation takes him on a nightmare journey into a dark underworld. As the mystery deepens, Max is forced to battle enemies beyond the natural world and face an unthinkable betrayal. The movie seems really promising.
