The Princess And The Frog

Here is another picture from Disney's upcoming film The Princess And The Frog. The film will be a traditionally animated (2-D) Disney movie. The story is about a fairy tale centered on a young girl named Princess Tiana who lives in New Orleans' French Quarter during the Jazz Age.
Tania will be the first Disney's black princess. Anika Noni Rose will be voicing Tania and Keith David will be voicing the film's villain Dr. Facilier who is a Voodoo magician/fortune teller. The film is currently scheduled for release in December 18, 2009. Disney's spokeswoman Heidi Trotta stated:"Princess Tiana will be a heroine in the great tradition of Disney’s rich animated fairy tale legacy, and all other characters and aspects of the story will be treated with the greatest respect and sensitivity." It is good that Disney is making another 2-D classical movie like the old ones. Looking foward for it...
